It has been awhile since I have posted. It has been a CRAZY week. Last Sunday my mum was taken to Central Peninsula Hospital. I flew home, back to Alaska, on Thursday and was driven down to Kenai from Anchorage. Saturday Mom was flown up to Providence in Anchorage by chopper (she said she was trussed up tight and wore headphones!). I followed by Yukon and am staying with round about relations in Anchorage (and Figaro).
It is amazing the care surrounding my mother, myself, and my family. I am so thankful for the blessings I’ve seen in getting me a ticket home so soon after I’d left. In people who let me stay in places of comfort. In the people who have mum under their caring hands. In the blades of helicopters, the majesty of this incredible Alaskan world I belong to. And in the rumble of a fluffy kitty cat at the end of the bed. Providence IMCU is well, providential in being available, giving, and incredibly adept in what they know and do.
I am blessed. Truly and thoroughly.
