Thank You

This place has been a part of my life for many years now. I make sure I have pens from them so I can be reminded of what a blessing they are. The women and men who work in this Soldotna branch are some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. They care, help, encourage, and love unconditionally every minute of their work day. I am almost ready to cry as I type this. The kindness they exhibit to me, the oldest daughter, of one of their patients astounds me. I am so thankful they exist on the Kenai for mom to go to every week. I know others who travel to ANC or even go to Fairbanks for treatments. Having this branch on the Peninsula is truly something to count among the blessings of so many of us living here.

Cancer is horrible. Chemotherapy is worse. The employees of Katmai are angels of mercy. They are what make those first two things bearable. What incredible investments they make in the lives of those they work for and with. They truly are among the unsung heroes of our world.
