Smile!

 I love seeing books come to life. This cutie was berthed in Whittier, Ak in 2014. When I see something like this, a name given to an object from a favorite book, it is as if time has wrinkled. Someone in this boat’s past was a fan of Narnia. Maybe they never managed to voyage to the Lone Islands, but I can imagine they thought it almost every time they boarded! It is a special blessing to run across others who are familiar with the same worlds. I am always honored.
