Summer hues bright and cool,
Meet in a bold, sparkling duel.
Autumn is such a beautiful time!
Colorful leaves in a frosty clime.
Winter changes into black and white,
Formal wear for a long dark night.
Spring appears a welcome sight.
Scented explosions of color and light.
Our world dresses in festive array,
In every season, it is ready to play!
Earth Day has always been a favorite day. Probably because it means outside and planting trees and seeds and green. WordPress (at the moment) is not a favorite play. This poem is supposed to have couplets for each ‘season’ and I cannot find out how to format that. So, please read it that way, if you can!!!! Enjoy the video–Eastern Oregon tree frogs from the Blue Mountains. Jon took all the photos.
