Breathe, give blessings, accept blessings, and do it again. Of all of these, accepting is not as simple as the others. Yet, it is so important. Accept thank you’s, accept a helping hand, and accept a smile given just to give. In our society we often think we need to give when we get. This harms the giver as well as the getter. Accept and breathe. It will get easier as you go.

I was thinking about some of my personal blessings today. Hugs, friends who encourage smiles, paper to write letters on, neighbors coming home from vacations, food to make into meals, dishwashers, and laughter. Breathe!
