This summer, one of the games in the cancer walk was Potty Plinko. You dropped a ping pong ball over the top and it bounced around the toilet paper tubes to hopefully land in the cups on the ground. It was a huge success. I detest cancer Breast cancer has killed my grandma, it has taken both of my mom’s breasts, it has taken my friend Kit, and it has interfered in my of the lives of other friends. Cancers are horrible. All of them. The strides made in conquering this disease are not large enough. Not until every one is cancer free. I do not want to lose anymore teachers or friends to this 6 letter C word. Where are the blessings? The blessings are in the people who band together to help fight it, the people who ARE fighting it, the people who have given of themselves to be lights in the darkness of this killer. Thank you to them all.
