This is a bit of a picture of the boat harbor in Homer, Ak. During the 1964 earthquake it sank 10 or 12 feet and they had to build it up, but it was restored and made a spot of security once more. It is lovely to find people who are safe harbors. There are more of them than you think. And they are always blessings. Some make harbors in their hugs, they make them in their care, and some are just plain great people to be around. The kind who accept and love and don’t judge. A harbor exists to keep one safe, to protect from storms and heavy seas. I want to be one of those kinds of people. A person who blesses and keeps those they love safe until they are ready to sail again.
