Hidden in Shadows

As the sun got caught in the trees about 920 pm, there was so much more to see. The little bugs on the water glittered, the giant dragonflies seemed like stealth bombers, and the loon on the lake stood out clearly. The white on the chest was like a beacon. A tiny beacon, but it was obvious something different was out there. Something not a mallard or a golden eye. It is exciting to find things hidden in shadows. It is easy to miss things, even if they are in plain sight. What a blessing it is to go beyond the darkness and find the treasures within.
